DESCRIPTION:Smart Cities are created all around us\nDid you ever drive through Amsterdam and notice how traffic lights respond to traffic in real-time? They receive data from sensors and cars\, adjusting light cadence and timing\, thereby reducing road congestion – a smart way to improve a city. \nEach city is different. Each city must satisfy its own particular set of needs and challenges. Each city therefore has its own smart city vision. But what exactly does that mean? \nWe have invited three specialist guest speakers\, who will shine their light on how Australian cities are becoming smart cities. \nPaul Budde will explain the ins and outs of a smart city.
