SUMMARY:The Energy Market in the next 50 years
DESCRIPTION:The Energy Market in the next 50 years. What will it look like?\nToday’s world is all about choices. Is installing solar panels on our roof worth it? Will my next car run on petrol\, or will I invest in an electrical vehicle? How long will an electric car battery last? How will the energy prices evolve? And what does this mean for my carbon footprint? These are important questions to be asked when considering the underlying scenarios. \nEnvision the scenarios for an energy company\, where investments are valued in billions and decisions require lengthy research and investigation processes. With climate change as no doubt one of the biggest challenges that we face as society. And the rapidly changing energy landscape due to developing technologies in shale\, solar\, wind\, biofuels\, hydrogen\, batteries\, and more. There are many variables to contemplate\, and many questions to be asked. \nEdwin Kunkels has worked for Shell since 2002 and is passionate about the energy transition. In his current role as Chief Financial Officer of Arrow Energy\, he deals with these questions on a daily basis.
