Circular Economies
August 9, 2022 | 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
About this event
We are proud to present two keynote speakers who are world-leading experts in Circular Economies.
Green economy, waste, renewables, and the impact on our future. These topics are on the top of the agenda in many countries.
During our next event, Professor Jacqueline Cramer will provide a global perspective on circular economies, while Marjon Wind will highlight the Australian situation and more specifically Queensland’s achievements.
Our Speakers
Professor Jacqueline Cramer, is a world-leading circularity expert with a strong focus on practical, action-orientated collaboration.
For more than thirty years she has helped successful sustainability initiatives in her home country of the Netherlands and internationally, meanwhile developing and applying the collaborative concepts of Network governance and transitions brokers.
As a former national minister on Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment, emeritus professor and business practitioner she is uniquely positioned to assist different industries in their transition toward a circular economy.
Marjon Wind: With more than 20 years of experience in banking, consultancy, leadership and change management in Asia and Europe, Marjon moved to Australia in 2017 and joined Coreo, a specialised circular economy consultancy. She applied her experience to support organisations in their transition from a linear to a circular business model to create economic, social and environmental benefits. In June 2022, she took up a new position as Manager Circular Economy for Container Exchange and combined with the role of Honorary Consul in Queensland, she has an excellent view of activities in circular economy in Australia in general and Queensland specifically.
