Towards Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games

We are excited to announce our collaboration with Orange Sports Forum (OSF).

OSF is a platform for the (international) promotion of companies, organizations and institutes that are connected to Dutch sport. This concerns ‘hardware’ (infrastructure, accommodations, financing and advice) and ‘software’ (training, coaching, nutrition, organisation, education and sports marketing). One of OSF’s most important roles is to identify opportunities abroad and to create a platform where Dutch companies, organisations and institutes can come into contact with foreign countries.

OSF brings Dutch companies and institutions into contact with potential partners and customers abroad and vice versa. OSF now has a network consisting of more than 300 companies and institutions. In addition, OSF works closely with Dutch governments and foreign missions (embassies and consulates). Ultimately, this will lead to making the most of the opportunities abroad.

Towards Brisbane2032, OSF aims to create a public private partnership with companies, universities and the Dutch government affiliated to sports. This strategic partnership will start in 2024 and run for at least three years. Within this partnership, we’ll organize annual trade missions, we’ll participate in conferences and exhibitions, we’ll have a sports liaison in Australia, and more. OSF has extensive experience with similar programs in China, Qatar and the United States. Thanks to the positive experiences and concrete results during this program, we’re pleased to work together towards Brisbane2032 and intensify the cooperation between Australia and the Netherlands.

Why is DCCQ important for all?

As Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Australia, one of my top priorities is stimulating the trade and investment relationship
between Australia and the Netherlands.

Having aligned purposes, I would like to congratulate the Dutch Chamber of Commerce Queensland on their incorporation. I wish them every success in their endeavour to support members and sponsors in strengthening trade and investment ties between Queensland and the Netherlands.
